Du Gut started with a simple observation: most funny shirts aren't funny. They're a pun in a serif font, printed once and forgotten in a warehouse.
We do one thing. We make shirts with jokes on them — the kind you'd screenshot, not the kind your uncle wears ironically at a barbecue. Every design starts as a joke that made us laugh first, and it only gets printed if it still lands a week later.
Nothing is mass-produced. Each shirt is printed to order on soft, lightweight cotton, which means no warehouse full of unsold mediums and no pressure to push whatever we over-ordered. It also means your shirt takes a few days longer than a next-day marketplace order. We think the joke is worth the wait.
The name reads like “you good?” — which, most days, is the right question.
